got my results today!!! which basically means tt am now a certified OT!!! woohoo! after 3 long yrs... haiz... dunno whether to laugh (finally it's over) or cry (leaving for aus soon n other classmates r starting work soon)... oh well! i tink laughing is more in order... esp since i managed to squeeze past de 3.5 threshold!! yay! means i can go for degree wif honours in la trobe! yeah baby! ahaha... how amazing... expected my results to be damn sucky dis sem, but lo n behold! they turned out to be even betta than last sem!! wah... once again... feeling v amazed... still can't believe tt i'm officially no longer a NYP student. Ahaha... tink wat really hit the news home is NOT the announcement of results, NOT the hols, NOT the debriefing n conclusion by lecturers (in our case, LECTURER - i.e. hb), BUT the realization tt MY LANYARD NO LONGER WORKS!!!!!! Omg. Means i'm barred fr all nyp facilities... so sad!! The sports hall, my BELOVED swimming pool, tennis court, LIBRARY!!!! Wanted to go borrow like my LAST bk EVER fr nyp lib today lor... n realized tt i'm no longer authorized to borrow anything... SO SAD!!! All the COMICS n FICTION bks I not yet read in the lib!!! (oops! Haf thus revealed the secret motive behind my frequent visits to the lib... NOT for research, but for leisure reading... ahaha...)
went for the trial OT qualifying exam (note to ser: we got the same WRITTEN paper wor, NOT the practical viva. Bleah...) for foreign OTs working in s'pore today... we're de trial batch, meaning our results will set the standard for foreign OTs... ahaha... tink the standard set by ME quite low wor... ahaha... abt one-third of de ques tikam one lor... ahaha... feel so guilty twds param... returned all my physio back to him... ahaha... was act feeling v amused throut de whole paper... ahaha... wat PNR D1/D2 flexion/extension??? i only rmr de "saturday night fever" position lor... which is dunno D1 or D2 n dunno flexion or extension... wahaha... so sad... hb muz be knocking his head on de wall when he looks @ our ans n sees the grades we get... ahaha... sekali i fail! omg... ahaha... den i'll be CERTIFIED, but NOT QUALIFIED! how ironic. duh.
nway, so happy tt queen, dor n xj r back fr japan... once again, u lucky pigs!!! *sulk* n am feverishly anticipating de arrival of my jap postcard... heard tt u all sent it on de 3rd day in japan ah?? like u all come back after de 10-day trip n my postcard not yet arrive lor... ahaha... see, slow mail is really SLOW mail... next time use fed-ex of dhl la! ahaha... ok, tink u all wanna kok me le. shall keep my mouth shut. but hafta say, so touched tt u guys really sent me a postcard!! *aawww... sniffle sniffle* tot u all wld haf lost my address b4 u all even reach japan!! oops. dun kok me. hee. aaahhh... has been 1+ wk into my hols... n haf been happily slacking away... woohoo!!! hmm... channel u is showing jang geum rite now... seriously tink i prefer de korean version... chinese voiceover juz sounds so weird... but min jio ho still looks as gd as eva!!! *whistle* heh. but i got new idol after watching sam soon!!! hyun bin!!! woohoo!! heh. so juai3, but still juai3 until so charming... *sigh* daniel is not bad too... heh.
nway, i'm deviating... am seriously tinking of working in aus for 1 or 2 yrs before returning to s'pore... or, can go work ard de globe wif nikki while i'm still young b4 settling down when i get older... hmm... will be super fun to journey to different countries to work for 1 yr each... hmm... can't wait to go aus!!!
n once again... manage to do stupid things today. tink i'm gettin more n more scatterbrained leh... act forgot to bring my lanyard to sch today!! which in itself, is no big deal really, except tt i'm supposed to play badminton wif ser today! n de stupid security guard refused to let me in wif my bus pass. hmph. ok la, not de guard's fault la, she's only following de rules. stupid sch rules. n of cos, stupid me. duh.
well well well... @ long last, i've managed to survive de gruelling 6-week technological isolation!!! hooray to me!! ahaha... so wat parting gifts did our gracious hosts impart to us during our departure? ONE big bite fr one of my little girls there (she happily threw a big tantrum during de last session wif me n gave me a huge bruise on my left arm... her mouth can open damn big la... haiyoh... de bruise has turned fr purple to yellow now... heng she neva break my skin lor, otherwise hafta go for injection... haiz... but her father more suay... she bit her father TWO times... oops!), one great dance (they danced aaron kwok's "para para" for us!!! aaawwww... sooooooo sweet...) fr de kids @ centre hu danced really well n shaked their butts... ahaha... n a great potluck dinner fr de kids' parents!! de food was great man!! homemade pizza, spaghetti, porridge (china style), otak rice, fried chicken (de parent managed to make it look EXACTLY like kfc chicken lor... amazing!!!), curry puffs, soon kueh... n loads more!!! it was heavenly.... haiz... unfortunately, de electricity decided to quit halfway during de farewell party... so needless to say, all of us were plunged into darkness... n de children started to pretend being ghosts n tried to scare us... was quite hilarious really.. heh... but sad la, de party had to end early due to de blackout... haiz... well, @ least our dear host n frens took us out after tt for some late night supper n kopi... heh... where our dear queen had a minor accident with her plastic chair (let's just say de chair outlived its lifespan)... n dear nikki had a teensy weensy bit too much to eat AND drink... frankly, it was quite an amazing scene... am quite sure tt i'll rmr it for de rest of my life... oops! ahaha... after a long evening, we adjourned back to our house, where we had a 2nd bout of drinking (many tanks to nikki for her vodka... *note to future batch of students gg to penang: one SMALL bottle of vodka is not enough to share between FOUR girls... bring BIGGER bottles in future*) n cards!!!
i gotta pause here for a short commercial break: pls rmr to take KONSORTIUM buses when any of ya wanna go m'sia in future. not only does it haf an in-flight... no, IN-BUS individual entertainment system (meaning ur own tv screen behind each seat playing both movies, cartoons and music), it's an 18-seater bus... meaning de seats r huge n u get control buttons for ur footrest, legrest n back... so u can nearly sleep horizontally @ night... n de MOST IMPORTANT thing is: de AIRCON is NOT so COLD!!! like omg... do u guys noe how difficult it is to get a bus with NOT so cold aircon @ night???!!!! it's a miracle!!! hallelujah!!! so rmr folks!! it's KONSORTIUM. spelled K-O-N-S-O-R-T-I-U-M. u can find it @ de 1st level of de building next to golden mile... n de prices r quite reasonable!!! 70RM fr penang to s'pore... S$70 fr s'pore to penang... of cos they go other places in m'sia also la... GO GO GO!!!
k! back to our programme... so managed to reach s'pore in time for election day... happily went for my FIRST vote!!! wheee...not tt it's very exciting... but it's another one of my firsts after passing de 21 year benchmark... heh... n guess wat?? happily voted for a party, only to realize tt u're supposed to put a CROSS on de voting ticket... n wat did aunty jojo do?? of cos i HAD to be blur n put a TICK in de box instead... wow!!! three cheers n three cheers n three cheers for jojo! hip hip HURRAY! so my first vote became a dud... despite my attempts to exercise my right as a singapore citizen to choose my own govt... haiz... oh well... i WAS technologically n media-ly isolated for SIX weeks!!! OBVIOUSLY i'm gonna be blur abt some things rite? all things considered, i tink my ignorance ought to be forgiven, don'tcha tink?? heh.
