home @ last!!!! woohoo!!

well well well... @ long last, i've managed to survive de gruelling 6-week technological isolation!!! hooray to me!! ahaha... so wat parting gifts did our gracious hosts impart to us during our departure? ONE big bite fr one of my little girls there (she happily threw a big tantrum during de last session wif me n gave me a huge bruise on my left arm... her mouth can open damn big la... haiyoh... de bruise has turned fr purple to yellow now... heng she neva break my skin lor, otherwise hafta go for injection... haiz... but her father more suay... she bit her father TWO times... oops!), one great dance (they danced aaron kwok's "para para" for us!!! aaawwww... sooooooo sweet...) fr de kids @ centre hu danced really well n shaked their butts... ahaha... n a great potluck dinner fr de kids' parents!! de food was great man!! homemade pizza, spaghetti, porridge (china style), otak rice, fried chicken (de parent managed to make it look EXACTLY like kfc chicken lor... amazing!!!), curry puffs, soon kueh... n loads more!!! it was heavenly.... haiz... unfortunately, de electricity decided to quit halfway during de farewell party... so needless to say, all of us were plunged into darkness... n de children started to pretend being ghosts n tried to scare us... was quite hilarious really.. heh... but sad la, de party had to end early due to de blackout... haiz... well, @ least our dear host n frens took us out after tt for some late night supper n kopi... heh... where our dear queen had a minor accident with her plastic chair (let's just say de chair outlived its lifespan)... n dear nikki had a teensy weensy bit too much to eat AND drink... frankly, it was quite an amazing scene... am quite sure tt i'll rmr it for de rest of my life... oops! ahaha... after a long evening, we adjourned back to our house, where we had a 2nd bout of drinking (many tanks to nikki for her vodka... *note to future batch of students gg to penang: one SMALL bottle of vodka is not enough to share between FOUR girls... bring BIGGER bottles in future*) n cards!!!

i gotta pause here for a short commercial break: pls rmr to take KONSORTIUM buses when any of ya wanna go m'sia in future. not only does it haf an in-flight... no, IN-BUS individual entertainment system (meaning ur own tv screen behind each seat playing both movies, cartoons and music), it's an 18-seater bus... meaning de seats r huge n u get control buttons for ur footrest, legrest n back... so u can nearly sleep horizontally @ night... n de MOST IMPORTANT thing is: de AIRCON is NOT so COLD!!! like omg... do u guys noe how difficult it is to get a bus with NOT so cold aircon @ night???!!!! it's a miracle!!! hallelujah!!! so rmr folks!! it's KONSORTIUM. spelled K-O-N-S-O-R-T-I-U-M. u can find it @ de 1st level of de building next to golden mile... n de prices r quite reasonable!!! 70RM fr penang to s'pore... S$70 fr s'pore to penang... of cos they go other places in m'sia also la... GO GO GO!!!

k! back to our programme... so managed to reach s'pore in time for election day... happily went for my FIRST vote!!! wheee...not tt it's very exciting... but it's another one of my firsts after passing de 21 year benchmark... heh... n guess wat?? happily voted for a party, only to realize tt u're supposed to put a CROSS on de voting ticket... n wat did aunty jojo do?? of cos i HAD to be blur n put a TICK in de box instead... wow!!! three cheers n three cheers n three cheers for jojo! hip hip HURRAY! so my first vote became a dud... despite my attempts to exercise my right as a singapore citizen to choose my own govt... haiz... oh well... i WAS technologically n media-ly isolated for SIX weeks!!! OBVIOUSLY i'm gonna be blur abt some things rite? all things considered, i tink my ignorance ought to be forgiven, don'tcha tink?? heh.

silly me also thought it was a tick, last min check with my parents then i knew we were supposed to cross!! guess we were really out of touch with voting because we were totally not exposed to the advertisements on sg tv!!!
btw, i LUV SG!!! boy am i glad we're back~
