Went to Healesville Sanctuary recently, which obviously is a sanctuary by name, but in actual fact looked more like a zoo... it only houses Aussie animals (obviously.) and usually has only a couple of animals on exhibit per specie... except for kangaroos of cos... they're always aplenty...
on our way there... on the 1 hour bus ride tt made most of us feel like puking...
@ the entrance of the sanctuary... don't be fooled by our careless smiles... we were really feeling quite sick from the winding bus journey... *bleaaarrrgghh*

small wooden bridge across a bubbly winding stream... coniferous trees all around us... adorable furry marsupials right around the corner... paired with the delightful twitterings of majestic birds... what more can u ask for?? ...... an extra layer of clothing. we were freezing our asses off!!!
aaaahhh... finally found a fireplace to thaw ourselves off... WWHHHAAAA???!!!! there's NO fire!!!!! gggrrrrrr.....

the mighty egg thieves has struck again!!! heh heh heh. this giant ostrich egg can last us for 3 months!! wahahaha....... WWHHAAA??!!! the egg is hatching!! wait a minute! that's no ostrich!! that's Lip Chin!!! huh?!

so after hatching baby Lip Chin from the ostrich egg they stole 22 years ago... the mighty egg thieves decided to return to the pugilistic world of egg-stealing and further refine their skills in the art of stealing eggs... in tow with them is their protege: the young and malleable Lip Chin!!! egg layers BEWARE!!
after walking for a whole morning... our heroines are starting to feel a nagging feeling of............
