am currently happily slacking on de sofa wif my trusty notebook... enjoying life as i blog... aaaahhhh..... FINALLY i'm home in our beloved lion city! BUT only for de wkend... haiz... guess dis is wat they call shoot in and out - arrive in s'pore at 7+am dis morn n departing for penang once again at 9.30pm tmr... so happy tt i can finally sleep on my wonderful bed again! complete wif my fluffy pillow n soft comforter... aaahhhh... am sure tt i'll haf a great sleep tonite... compared to de hard bed, flat pillow n thin + porous blanket i haf in penang... dis is simply heaven!!! wheee..... altho i'm still a little pissed @ having to spend 190RM to travel to n fro s'pore juz to meet my lecturers for 3 hrs... duh. well, @ least i get to meet my family, sleep on my bed (for ONE night only!!! boohoo...) n watch my tv (we only got jang guem - da chang jing -for accompany in penang...)
so! how shall i sum up my past 2 wks in penang? hmm... can only say tt i got hit by kids (in de face), got my hairband pulled out by kids, got my knee bruised by kids, got screamed @ by kids n got more than a dozen mosquito stings on my legs (10 on my left n 3 on my right leg). other than tt, everything's been great! gd food + gd company + gd hosts. has been a gd choice to come to penang. altho, sometimes i get quite sick of having to socialize wif so many pple... haiz... of cos being such gd hosts, they often bring us out during de wkends n treat us to meals... which is wonderful!!! but extremely tiring as well... i can be quite unsocial @ times n i really need my personal space!!! no time for me to slack, wake up late n stone... activities which i deem as extremely therapeutic n relaxing... so instead to resting during de wkends, de programs planned for us throut de wkend often makes me UNrefreshed @ de start of a new wk... haiz... guess my body's not built for de "work hard n play hard" motto... tink it's more suited for "work little, play some n slack hard"... oh well...
tink i'm feeling a little more lost now tt treatment has begun... not sure if wat i've done is appropriate n beneficial for de children. i definitely HOPE it is. really feel abit like being thrown into deep water to drown... ahaha... wif NO lifeguards to save me! haiz... guess i shld really learn how to swim before time runs out.
