Title: 15 Minutes of Silence

Synopsis: A young girl gets a taste of being the main topic of a 15 minute conversation between her colleagues (a guy and a middle aged lady), in which the girl only managed to say 3 words throughout the conversation.

Scene: Yakun Coffeestall, Seiyu, Bugis

Date: 8 Jun 2004

Time: 1505 hours

Characters: Moi, guy no.1 n my auntie colleague

Screenplay: Moi

The young girl has just announced her plans for the afternoon, after work, catching Shrek 2 with her GIRL friend.

Guy no.1: Wah auntie, see pple so gd, watching movie with her boyfriend later... i shld go get myself a girlfriend too hor...

Moi: ... (BOYFRIEND? WAT boyfriend?)

Auntie: Yar lor... yesterday joann bring her 2 frens 2 intro 2 u, u dun wan, now complain lar!

Guy no.1: Aiyah dun wan lar... i scared~!! later they all stick to me n refuse 2 let go! Harharhar...

Moi: ...... *roll my eyes*

Auntie: They all stick 2 u like bees stick 2 honey rite? haha... u go n watch de movie wif joann n her friend lar!

Moi: .... (wah??)

Guy no.1: Yar hor... can watch movie tog...

Auntie: U ask ah seng(another colleague) cum here 2 cover 4 u n u go watch lar... tell him u cum back at bout 5+... we wun tell anyone... *grinz*

Guy no.1: Can rite?! Juz get my head chopped off by Susan (our supervisor) only... haha...

Auntie: U go den can treat them mah...

Guy no.1: I treat them? they treat me lar!

Auntie: So stingy, liddat oso dun wanna treat... *shakes head*

Guy no.1: I STINGY?! Can! i treat lor... they pay only... HARHARHAR...

Moi: .... *roll my eyes AGAIN* (tt's sooo NOT funny)

Guy no.1: Aiyah... watch wat movie? U're de female lead oredi wad... *grins at me*

Auntie: Den u're de male lead rite? *grins at guy no.1*

Guy no.1: Yar lor! den auntie u're de supporting actress lar... HARHARHAR...

Auntie: HARHARHAR...

Moi: .... (soooo NOT funny AGAIN)

Auntie: Eh... u dun pull me into u two's relationship hor...

Moi: Har? Wat relationship? (ps: my only 3 words in dis conversation)

Guy no.1: Yar lor auntie... wat relationship?

Auntie: Y u all so big reaction? i juz meant u all 2 go watch movie dun pull me into going oso mah... i'll be such a big lightbulb! *evil grin (k... i confess i added de "evil" part myself)*

Moi:.... (wateva...)

Guy no.1: Eh... we jokin only lar...

Auntie: Yar lor... we jokin only hor...

Moi: *smiles and nods*

Author's note: I was n am still so utterly amazed tt they can tok abt me for 15 mins w/o my participation in de conversation... OMG! minyin saes it's cos they're sooo bored n got nothin 2 tok abt... WATEVA...
